GIBBON PARK

Public BBQ

Gibbon Park in Mosman Park offers a blend of traditional and nature play areas. The traditional playground, with its slide, climbing ropes, and seesaw rocker, is set on a soft rubber base under shade sails. The adjacent toddler area encourages imaginative and educational play. The park's highlight, however, is the new nature playground featuring rocks, logs, and ropes for climbing and balancing, evoking the area's rope-making heritage and offering ample opportunities for imaginative play. Facilities include a bird's nest swing, wood-chip flooring for mess-free play, and limited shade, so hats and sunscreen are advised. Additional amenities include a barbecue area, ample seating, and nearby basketball and tennis courts at the Margaret Baldwin Centre. With off-street parking, as well as proximity to public transport, Gibbon Park is a charming destination for family outings.
